Or rather, astonishing splashes of colour!
This afternoon's thrifty charity shop finds on my table of colour!
The book is Astonishing Splashes of a Colour by Clare Morrall. The cover caught my eye first, then I realised it was about a child growing up with no recollection of her mother (ditto here) and synaesthesia - where emotions are seen as colours. I'm looking forward to reading it, and I'll let you know how I get on!
The fabric is a summery skirt in a patchwork of colours. Perfect. I think I'll just wear it instead of chopping it up and using the fabric!
